(All of our entertainers perform different types of entertainment and all the entertainment may not be available by all entertainers.)
There are several different types of magic, and understanding them will allow you to best understand what type of magic will be best for your next event.
Close-up Magic: This type of magic is done in front of small audiences, usually 10-15 people at most. This magic involves very small props, such as decks of cards, coins, rubber bands, etc.
Parlor Magic: This type of magic is done in front of an audience of anywhere from 30-250 people. This magic involves medium sized props, such as large notebooks, small animals, silks, etc.
Stage Magic: This type of magic is done in front of a large audience, usually from 150 people and up. This magic involves the use of large stage props, large illusions, big sets, lights, and music.
At Skyhigh Entertainment we provide shows in all of these categories, and we even mix some of them together.
Strolling Magic
Our strolling magic is great for those events that you want your guests to be able to mingle and talk amongst each other, and not have to focus on a single form of entertainment. The magician travels throughout the event and mingles with small crowds for a few minutes at a time, entertaining them and then moving on to entertain some more people. A single magician can entertain up to 60 guests in a single hour.
Family Magic Shows
Our family magic shows are great at those events where you are looking to entertain both children and adults. This show certainly has its fair share of comedy and entertainment that only the adults will understand, but at the same time entertaining the children.
This show runs 40 minutes long and features many of the audience members throughout the show.
Birthday Party Magic Shows
Our birthday party magic shows are some of the most popular shows being performed today. The approach to the show is very similar to that of the Family Magic Show, but is directed more towards the children at the party. This show is certain to entertain the adults at the party as well.

Holiday/Seasonal Magic Shows
Our holiday magic shows are designed to revolve around different holidays throughout the year. Everything from Easter, Spring style, Summer style, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. These shows are very festive and fun and have a lot of comedy throughout the show.
These shows run approximately 40 minutes long and feature many of the audience members throughout the show.
Mentalist Shows
This is one of the newest shows that we are offering as part of our “Magic” category. Our mentalist is sure to astonish and astound the audience through the use of mind games and mentalist techniques.

“Seeing is Believing”
The original “Seeing is Believing”, performed by Just N’ Illusion, is being re-written to appeal to the new Mentalist style shows being produced. “Seeing is Believing” was a high energy stage illusion and parlor style show. The new “Seeing is Believing, Magic and Mentalism” will involve all the same one-of-a-kind stage illusions we are known for, but will also incorporate the new Mentalist acts being produced.
This show runs approximately 2 hour, including a 15 minute intermission. The new show is available for bookings starting in September 2010.
Private Magic Lessons
Our professional magicians are available to sit down and teach your young magician professional techniques used in our own business to help them achieve their goals. Weather they want to show their friends some tricks or they want to pursue a career as a professional magician, we are available to help.
Our Private Lessons usually booked an hour at a time. In order achieve certain goals, several lessons may be necessary.
